Peru Community Schools Administration

Superintendent Trent McCormick

Welcome to Peru Community Schools… Home of the Tigers!

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the Superintendent of such a vibrant and dedicated learning community. At Peru, we are committed to creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment where every student is empowered to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Historically, Peru is a longtime railroad, circus, and river town as our community is situated at the convergence of three rivers – The Wabash, The Mississinewa, and The Eel Rivers. Peru Community Schools is always proud to brag about our world class art gallery located in our high school as well as our strong ties to the Peru Amateur Circus which has a 65-year tradition of Miami County students performing in the famous three-ring circus building in downtown Peru.

Our incredible team of educators, staff, families, and community partners work together to ensure that all students are prepared for success in college, careers, and life. We take great pride in our innovative programs, strong academic foundations, membership in the Heartland Career Center, and the many opportunities we offer to explore the arts, athletics, technology, and leadership.

Thank you for checking us out, and we look forward to seeing you on campus for one of our many school events.

We are stronger when we work together!

Sincerely,
Trent McCormick
Superintendent
